Director of PhotographyBen has been working behind a camera since 1982. His experience spans over 30 years directing a weekly, live TV show and includes freelance work for ABC Sports and documentary projects for Lifetime Television and PBS - including coverage of the emergency reconstruction efforts immediately following Hurricane Katrina’s landfall in Louisiana. Ben has shot photos and video from air, land, and sea and has taken his cameras across the US and to Europe, Guam, Japan, and China.
An accomplished, award winning professional, Ben works with clients and other producers to achieve a high level of quality and overall production value. He has worked as a producer for TEDx, shot concert and promotional video for Top 100 music personalities, photographed Patrick Dempsey’s ‘Dempsey Racing’ team on Pit Row at Daytona Speedway, interviewed members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and even worked with Sesame Street’s Telly and Elmo. His work has been shown on multiple local and regional broadcast stations as well as QVC, American Forces Information Service, The Pentagon Channel, and seen distribution via The Walmart News Room.
When not directly involved in media production, Ben leverages his experience in the industry by consulting with businesses, non-profit organizations, and government entities and has been certified as an expert witness in video and audio forensics. He has helped local schools to develop media centers for internal broadcasting and career training and serves as a mentor for youth interested in video & film production.
